Ikarao Smart Karaoke Machine for Adults with Screen Lyrics Display,2 Wireless Mics,Portable Bluetooth Speaker for Music Party

Something about a mic loosens everyone up. The whole room was singing by midnight out back on the patio, and the mics pair on their own, zero fiddling. It's a keeper for sure.

Our alumni group tailgates every home game and for years we argued over one portable speaker and whoever's phone had the playlist. I bought this more as a joke than anything. It is now the reason people arrive early. Two mics means the arguing shifted to who sings next instead of what gets played, and it's loud enough to cut through a generator and a crowd of fifty. Went from noon until deep into the third quarter on one charge. The strap sounds like a throwaway detail until you're walking a quarter mile from the car with a cooler in each hand.

Watch party for the big race, this humming in the garage. Easy to move near the screen.

Hotel room after sightseeing, a wind-down sing. Small enough to have brought on the plane.

Looked at the fancy $400 systems first. Best bang for the buck I could find, and it's the thing the grandkids ask for by name now, so I skipped the splurge. Glad I didn't go with the bigger, pricier ones.

My wife insisted she wanted no party for her fiftieth and then spent three hours fronting what can only be described as a band made of our friends. I bought this knowing exactly that would happen. What I hadn't predicted was how much of the evening became other people grabbing the second mic while she was still mid-verse — her sister, two colleagues, the neighbour from three doors down. Two people singing at once without a mixer or a splitter is honestly the entire trick here. She has since declared Friday nights officially hers, and I have been informed this arrangement is not open to negotiation.

Finals night, this between quarters. The bass kept energy high.

Finished the trail and broke this out at the picnic table. The whole group joined in.

Our families speak French, Vietnamese and English, and the playlist problem at our wedding after-party was real — nobody wanted one language dominating all night. Requests came in across all three and every single one appeared almost immediately, which kept the floor busy in a way a fixed playlist never manages. Sound handled forty-odd people in a hall with appalling acoustics better than I'd hoped, and setting it up took less time than locating an extension cord. My uncle performed something in French that I will never be able to unhear. We avoided hiring a DJ entirely, which paid for this several times over.

The bride's night and we ran the playlist. The mics held up through all the laughing.
